The lace up front with six eyelets and friction resistant lace rings, combined with a heavy duty industrial grade zip, offers convenience and a secure fit. Even the laces and lining are made from recycled PET, adding an environmentally conscious touch without compromising on performance.

Built for safety, the Blundstone 8550 features the Fortalite composite toe cap. This broad fitting toe protection is compression resistant, airport friendly, and tested to withstand 200 joules of impact while keeping the boot lightweight. A TPU toe guard adds another layer of durability, protecting the leather in high wear areas. The GRIPTEK HD outsole provides biomechanically designed grip and stability, while resisting oil, acid, organic fat, microbial attack, and heat up to 140°C.
